Fanime is held Memorial Day weekend, this year falling on Friday, May 23rd to Monday, May 26th, 2008. Pre-registration is currently $50 until March 31, 2008.
Fanime Con 2008 is held in San Jose at the San José McEnery Convention Center and in the surrounding hotels, The Hilton and The Marriott.

Downtown San Jose is home to the San Jose Convention center. The convention center has over 20 meeting rooms and 100,000 sq feet of Convention space. The area also holds dining and shops and stores to fill many of your needs during Fanime.

FanimeCon 2007 registration is located at the main Convention Center entrance, on San Carlos Blvd, off Highway 87.

Exit at the Fremont BART station, and take VTA Express Bus Route 180.

You can get off at San Fernando & Almaden, and walk south (about two-three blocks).

Or you can exit at 2nd & Santa Clara. and transfer to VTA Bus Route 23, exiting at the Convention Center.

By Caltrain
Take CalTrain to the Tamien Station and transfer to the Light Rail. Exit the Light Rail at the Convention Center stop.

Caltrain has normal service on Friday, and holiday service on Monday.
